Exist one mod available MQ8 to use with Kodi Leia by latts9923.
You put in this repository scripts which work with python 2 and python 3!
You should create separate repositories as kodi does.

I know Latts have multiples repo, one for use with Kodi Leia another to Matrix.
MQ9 uses one repo only for use with Kodi Matrix 19 or Kodi 20 N*.

After reseting my skin, I have artist slide show error message again when listening music
And python errors come each time I want to use widget in TV shows.

MarcosQui repo was deprecated, is old and Marcos doesn´t use more.
Brasil repo, you need to get the new repo in our drive, and update, you are using one old repo too (deprecated).
The repo is only for Kodi Matrix, and all inside is python 3 compatible.

Is there a way to to disable the osd on pause in aeon mq 8?
I was sure this was a skin setting somewhere but for the life of me, I can't find it.
In Matrix this is apparently under
CHANGE PAUSE SCREEN" in SKIN SETTINGS > GENERAL SETTINGS.
But this does not appear to be the case for Leia.

The "CHANGE PAUSE SCREEN" is included in the Aeon MQ 8 Multi-Mod. The default skin does not have this option.

So whenever a video starts playing, the subtitle download selection comes on, whether there are local subtitles available or not. This is very annoying. Isn't there any way to disable this?

Do I really have to use .HDR. to get HDR tags to show up? I have HDR in the file name of everything, but I don't use dots/dashes. I know this is an even stupider second part to this question, but do other skins require the .HDR. too to get HDR to show up? I JUST started using HDR, so I don't have a lot of files to fix, but just want to confirm that I HAVE to do this. Or, does it work differently after I update to Matrix or something?

Yes, it´s necessary for now, the skin needs to use the filename to appear the respective flag.
The good news, available one pull request to solve it - Kodi 20 Nexus (work in progress).
