I always use the Back action with no issues but I just noticed you can also return to the screen using the Left action which may be a problem under certain scenarios.

Can you give me your exact sequence starting from the moment you enter plots & critics?

Ok I can confirm this behavior. Very annoying I'm just glad a reboot fixes the problem. After I rebooted I can't get it to do it again.

I'll look at the xml in a bit for the cast and how it works. I wonder what the back action looks like in the xml for the return option. I just turned on the computer and I'm looking at the custom containers right now.
@HugoL, I found some really good info for the skin shortcuts on how it's implemented into the skin.

So I just managed to recreate this issue by sheer luck. After trying everything I could think of, I decided to randomly tap my touchscreen while in Plots & Critics and then I found the bug.

So I enabled mouse support to pin down the issue.  It seems that right click on mouse recreates this issue.

@Silviastone Do you both have the mouse setting enabled by any chance? This needs to be disabled.

We really need to figure out how to get TMDB helper integrated.  I noticed it has a ListItem.Oscar_Wins and I want it.  I've done it with skin helper but it's painful since it only has Awards rather than limiting it to Oscars.  I had to use a lot of variables and visibility conditions for it to only display Oscar wins and I can't guarantee it's totally accurate.  Although, everything I've checked so far seems to be accurate so maybe it is!

This film does have 11 oscar wins for example so it seems to be working as it should.  It just shouldn't be this long winded to implement.

in Skin Settings > General sking Settings > Enable mouse and touch support    is disabled.
I've just tried to Enable mouse and touch support and have the same issue with it enabled or disabled.

FYI: I am on an nvidia shield using a Minix Neo Mouse, which has a touch pad and a back button along with a keyboard on the back. It seems this is the only area of the skin that I've run into issues with navigation.

Interesting, now that I have enabled, closed out of Kodi, disabled mouse and touch support and closed out of Kodi, it looks like the left direction on the touch pad now let's me go back to the previous screen from Plots & Critics. So for now problem seems solved with those steps.
