In this view how do i go about getting the genres, directors and awards to be listed in plain white text as they're seen below.
Similarly i'm after the same buttons Resume, Play from beginning etc to display to
I think after this i've sussed out everything i need to.

Weird so it doesn't show for me on the spotlight section. What are the settings to alter it back ?

I've got trailers to start playing after 10 seconds, but I'm fairly sure this is playing quicker than this also.

This is off by default so if you see something that's turned on in the left screen try and turn it off.. If your trailer is set to play at 10 seconds then it's playing in 10 seconds not before. If you think it is playing before get a stopwatch and test again.

On your previous message thanks! I completely missed the sidebar menu options and must have changed it. I've been tweaking this skin on and off for a long while and only now getting round to nailing it so apologies fixed both my plot and the trailer playing at 5 seconds not 10.
Here is the image of my spotlight settings
I'm also trying to point submenus at my playlists but as you can see from the image the skin cannot seem to find any playlists despite them being present and also full of media (working) when i enter any of them.
I've opened up my log and i've found the following lines:

Not sure if this has been reported before or if it's just on my end... If I enable auto trailers for main menu and hub, the widgets and hubs on screen refresh automatically and completely change the shown media. It seems that a skin refresh is needed for the trailers to play? So the trailer that is playing even doesn't match the current selected media anymore because it refreshed to a new movie or show. This function isn't usable like this at all for me. Is there a setting to fix this? Thanks again.

Kodi refreshes widgets when a video content starts and ends. Given that the trailer is also a video, that's why it's refreshing. The only way to prevent this is the widget doesn't have random sorting.
