I use both raspbmc and openelc 3.2.0 (fusion release) which both have the ffmpeg compiled with the gnutls option... So SVT play works fine except that the picture quality do not look as good as before (or on my computer/browser). I get a delays in sync between sound and picture and it stutters quiet often...
Any hints how to improve the quality?
Note: It's not a bandwidth issue (100 Mbit line ) and I have no problems watching SVT on my PC, Nexus 7, phone...

Here is a patched XBMC 13 alpha 7 for Windows.
SvtPlay working great. Pvr plugin is boken you have to compile it.

It's not really patched, it's compile with ssl support.

It did not work. It is saying that the app is broken in the repository and XBMC does no support SVT´s encrypted vodeo stream.
The version of the app is 3.3.3.
Any idea?

May I ask another question about an old issue I have been struggling with about svtplay. In XBMC there are not the same amount of programs as there are on the svt official webpage. For example the serie Brottplats Edinburgh there has been 3 films. On the webpage I can find them. But not when using the addon. There is only the last one 3/3. Do you have any idéa about this? You seams to have knowledge about this though it might not be anything wrong with the addon I guess.

Unfortunately when I try to install the file

on my RaspBMC I only get the "relax loop". That XBMC version will not install properly on my RaspBMC.
What could be the problem? Is there a solution? Do I need to install something else first? A special version of RaspBMC?
I unpack the file and put in .upgrade. Then switch to that version in RaspBMC. It shuts down and when I restart it goes to a relax loop forever.
I really miss watching SVT play on the TV...

And brutally unplugging the Pi doesn't solve it I presume?
I think I experienced something similar and forcing a reboot solved it.
That was from a fresh install of "std" Rasbmc and then adding the new version, very little tinkering in between.
May I suggest that you try that?

I have tried both ways...
1. Forcing it to reboot by pulling the cord.
2. Letting it relax loop for an hour.

You must unpack it on the pi. I had the same problem but when i unpacked it ont the pi with tar -xzv command it worked. Check if the folders are right to.
