i'm a bit disappointed by the lack of feedback by the developers of this script. used to get help all the time, but now it's non-existent. sad though. is anyone getting lockup issues with this script enabled in the nightly builds? anyone?

Well, the main programmer, ppic, has taken some time off away from scripting. ronie has been kind enough to get this script, and many others up pre-Eden status. I am surprised that he is able to even answer as much as he can(I think he manages around 5-6 scripts, Transparency! and even helps on the development of XBMC - oh yea, and have a life too..)
The problem you are talking about has been talked about a lot. With pre-Eden being developed, things get broken(program threading is one that is problematic - which TvTunes uses) Possible posts to Trac with a crashlog, debug.log, etc. might help.
Shinu - I know you are very supportive, if you would provide a debug log and such, the problem might get solved.

thanks for the response guys. i hope i didn't come off abrasive. it's just that this freezing issue's been driving me nuts. so much so that i'm considering going back with 10.1. but i'll stick it out a bit longer in hopes that things get fixed. btw, good job picking up the slack in ppic's absence ronie.

those are regular logs, i'm gonna need a debuglog
settings > system > debugging > enable debug logging
restart xbmc, reproduce the error and pastbin the logfile :-)

TV Tunes does not work properly with RAR videos. Here's my file format:
TV Shows/showname/season/episode/episode.rar
The script downloads theme.mp3 to TV Shows/showname/theme.m3. Here is the error from the logs:
