JSON API for Addons/Favourites
#1
Question
I'm a developer of video addons. When playing with different XBMC remote applications on my iDevice, i missed the possiblity to browse my Audio/Video Addons or the Favourites in all of these Apps.
As more and more good addons are popping up, it would be a good thing to be able to also access these from a remote control.

If I got it right, it's not a missing feature of these applications, but the current interface (JSON API) just does not offer functions to query for addons/favourites at all.

Is there a plan to add support for this? Or did I overlook an important note and this post is obsolete?

Cheers,
skani

There is no real way atm to get the addons or execute specific methods on addons but the normal Files.GetDirectory works with addons.
