Hi guys, I'd appreciate it if you took a moment to help an xbmcbuntu/linux newbie.
I was running windows 7 on an old machine in my lounge when I came across xbmc. I installed the windows version and loved it and decided to make the jump to xbmcbuntu. I downloaded and installed this .iso: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/releases/XBMCbun...NVIDIA.iso
Everything has worked fine until I tried to start xbmc.
All it does is throw up the splash page and drop out instantly. I noticed each time it does this it creates a crash report.
http://pastebin.com/C04dtQ9f
I thought that because I had an intel chipset that I should install the intel iso, but perhaps my problem is that I have an AMD graphics card? if this is the case, do I have to reinstall with the AMD .iso or can I work around this?
If this isn't the case, could someone please weigh in??
Thanks
