I have moved house and no longer have direct access wired to the router for my atv2.. so i deleted the auto xbmc boot. and wanted to go in and change the wireless settings so it could connect.. but it wont go past the screen where it says time and date update.. and then reboots after a while..

thing is the actual atv2 remote is dead and i have been using the ios app etc to work it.. any ideas? can i ssh in?

buy a new remote for 10bucks

You might be able to ssh in and install a vnc server so that you can get past the screen and set up a new remote. Then uninstall the vnc server, because it uses resources.
