I've put together a config I'm happy with, my only worry is noise really, but without overclocking I think it will run on low clocks in most situations and not make to much noise. I will be close to my home theater system anyway, so I don't think the noise from this setup will be audible in most situations, but be sure to tell me if you think I am wrong.
The list is from a Norwegian store, but at least the components should be easy enough to understand
Media Server / Player build
In addition to that I'm thinking about the Asrock FM2A85X-ITX because of the 7 drive capacity (can't get it from the same store, so not in the list above).
The price is around $2000, but everything is more expensive in Norway compared to the US.
I know the A10-5800K is overkill, but I'm not to worried about that unless it just produces a lot of heat and noise for no gain.
