Win Lag in connecting to network drive
#1
Question
Good morning,
Running a windows 7 raid box connected to my main tv. Certain video, music, and pictures are connected on a drive connected to other computers on my network...some of those are external usb 2 drives. Before upgrading to 12.2 I never had a lag issue in connecting to those drives. Since it takes at least 2-3 minutes from selecting that folder for it to actually connect to it. Is this something that is happening to others...should I go back to Eden..am I missing a setting perhaps? All of my computers on the network are connected via ethernet...all of the files play once connected..its just the lag that is concerning.

Thanks for reading.

can you post a debug log (wiki) after you try the same connectivity again so we can see what it shows in the log?

Noticing also when I close out of 12.2 I usually get runtime errors and windows searching for solutions. XBMC repeatedly also cleans library databases

The only delay I see in your log is lines 857 to 859 which might be unrelated...

18:45:42 T:3004 DEBUG: service.watchdog: music sources ['smb://OFFICE/MyBook 2 TB/Mybook 1TB/Downloads/']
18:46:52 T:3004 DEBUG: service.watchdog: watching <smb://OFFICE/MyBook 2 TB/Mybook 1TB/Downloads/> using <class 'core.polling_xbmc.PollerObserver_Full'>
18:48:32 T:4664 DEBUG: CZipManager::GetZipList - Processing zip://smb%3a%2f%2fOFFICE%2fMyBook%202%20TB%2fMybook%201TB%2fDownloads%2fUtorrent%2fAAA%20XP%20Torrent%2fv3751.zip/

What is that zip file v3751.zip?
