is there a way to clean the file names before getting scraped.

eg. i want to delete the .bluray .720p etc from the filenames before EMM scrapes the file?

Do you mean renaming the local files or clean the title for first scraping?

yea renaming the local file, everytime there is .bluray in the title it adds bluray to the source, which i dont want.

You can enable the Renamer in Settings -> Modules. But the renamer works only with scraped (or after scraping) movies.
