Hello,

I tried to update from Gotham 13.2 to Helix RC3 yesterday and encounted the problmen that my settings and libraries are not being transferred, or at least not properly, during the installation.

During the installation process a message appeard that XBMC is updated to Kodi and all setting and libraries need to be transferred. If I'm ok with that I need to click OK.
So I clicked OK and a after acouple seconds a message appeared that it was succesfful and the old XBMC is being uninstalled. Another couple seconds later the installation process is finished and I can "Run Kodi". I thought everything went fine...

So Kodi starts, but all my settings are not there and all the libraries are empty. I made a backup of old XBMC folders beforehand so I reverted back to 13.2 and tried the whole thing another time, with the same outcome.

So does somebody have any ideas what the problem might be?
Actually I'm a little surprised I didn't find a thread about my problem. Am I really the only one who encounted that issue?

you can just copy the userdata folder manually,
