Questions from absolut newbie

Hi
I just came across the Kodi SW today. I am an ABSOLUTE newbie when it comes to HTPC.

I started to read the wiki but I don´t get it how it works.

I have:

- a 55" Flat screen TV
- banana pi with all hardware needed to operate it (but no OS installed on the SD)
- a 10" tablet PC, Android on which I just installed the latest Kodi SW
- a chromecast on HDMI 1 on my TV

I really don´t know how to continue now.

My questions:

How do I get the stuff from the tablet now to the TV? Via HDMI or can I use chromecast? DLNA (my TV capable of DLNA).

I have all my videos, pictures and music on an ext4 hard disk but this I can not connect to the tablet of course.

Anybody could help a noob, please?

There is a banana pi version of xbmc. Install it. Connect your ext4 hard drive to the banana pi.

Thank you for the reply.

But the Banana pi CPU is strong enough to play Full HD videos?

The tablet has a quadcore and plays the videos fluently but how about the banana pi?

Where can I download the OS?

Not here?

When I click on any image I get an error message in Chinese.
