Yes its a kodi thing. You can also add your hdhr as a video source using dlna and you'll get the same thing. Actually, I thought I found that FF does work.

Still weird that you have to use dlna at all, I don't understand why your system was struggling to do two live streams.

Are you using the system drive as the Recorded TV drive? With everything running on one drive this may be the bottleneck that is causing problems. Try switching Recorded TV to its own drive and see if it makes a difference

Recorded TV is going to it's own drive. It's currently working ok with DNLA, though the lack of RW/FF on live TV is missed.
It's being worked on.
