HI i am new to XBMC/Kodi so i am not sure that i am posting this the right place or if it already has been asked but
i have genesis on kodi and i really want to watch the movies and tv shows on my tv rather than watching it on my pc.
is there a way to like stream the video from kodi onto a ps4 or samsung smart tv or something like that? i dont want to buy those android box things, as my tv is already a smart tv.
and i have triied using a hdmi cable, but the graphics becomes shit when i do it,

Why is Genesis banned? :/ okay. not genesis another addon for stream videos. is there a way to stream it to tv?

Okay forgot the genesis part. but is there a way to stream/broadcast the kodi to my smart tv or playstation 4?

OK - I think what you're getting at here is something different... I guess you're thinking like Airplay from you device running Kodi, to your TV?

Kodi is an alternative method (or Input source) of getting media onto your TV screen...
ie, Input choices are Digital TV, Smart TV, HDMI1 (Playstation), HDMI2 (Kodi Box).

So, get an HDMI cable and plug it between your telly and your PC running Kodi - it's much nicer interface and much more powerful than the Smart TV feature on your TV.

PC not near the TV? Pick up a Rasberry Pi, Cubox or similar low priced unit to run Kodi on it. Velcro to the back of the TV, connect to network and hey presto.. another Kodi box, that will most likely work with the same remote as your TV now.

And then... configure it to connect to the pictures and videos you already have on your PC over the network and enjoy.
