I am able to stream only .vob files over my home network.
.avi & mpg files will only play if they are on the xbox hard drive.

I am using smartxx v1 chip w m8+ lba bios.
XBMC 2.0.0 release slim.

You are running out of memory. Lower your network cache, and set the resolution as 720p, not 1080i.
