I've been using Kodi on Fire Tv for more than a year and never had an issue like this before. My Fire TV is rooted and has never been updated from the initial firmware 51.1.0.1. Access to amazon.com is blocked at the router to prevent any updates and kodi is loaded directly when the power is turned on. Everything was fine until a few days back when kodi started shutting down after a few minutes of playing a live channel like Al Jazeera, and Fire TV went to Amazon home screen which started coming on and off the screen intermittently. Pressing the remote button didn't work. Only turning the power off and on would resolve the problem but only temporarily until it started again. My box has more than 3GB of space left, so there's no issue of limited space. Today it really became unbearable with so much interruption every now and then. Any help would be appreciated in this regard.
