I've been having an issue with Kodi hanging when I exit - to the point where I need to right click and 'end task.'

I completely blew away my Kodi install, started fresh with 16.1, and installed a few core things. (Emby, Artic Zephyr, backup, advanced launcher).

However, I'm still seeing the issue. Any thoughts on what's happening?

HI I have The Fix.. go to Settings ..system.. Input. DRIVER settings and disable Xinput and Direct Input..Fixed. allgood hope it helps out.. cant believe no1 knew the fix for this and Its Not Addons!!

Thank you. I was having this issue on latest Kodi 20 and Kodi Omega 21 too. After trying your fix, now Kodi will never hang on exit. Thanks again 👍.

This was driving me mad.

The weird thing is I have been running Omega for a long time and only 2 weeks ago changed graphics card from Nvidia GTX650Ti to onboard Intel series 10 GPU (i7 10700) when this problem started for me.
