Win Kodi v17 (from Windows Store) doesn't work with Assigned Access
#1
I've just installed Kodi from the Windows Store and it works fine but I'm trying to setup Windows Assigned Access to have Windows 10 automatically start Kodi. There are other ways to do this (as describe on the Wiki) but this seems to be the best approach because its built into Windows to force a user to only using a single application.

Anyways, when I enable Kodi (from the Window Store) as the assigned access application it doesn't start and it the event viewer has this message:
Code:
ActivateApplicationForContractByAppIdAsUserWithHost of the app XBMCFoundation.Kodi_4n2hpmxwrvr6p!Kodi for the Windows.Launch contract failed with This app does not support the contract specified or is not installed..

Does the Kodi app in the Windows Store just need a new method added to it to support this?

Sorry, it looks like this might be a known issue with win32 apps converted to Windows Store apps. (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/40492...or-windows)
