I am new to this technology and have a problem saving new video icons to the main Kodi screen. I am able to add some by using the vide addons menu in the skins window, but after closing kodi and restarting, the new icons are missing. Only the previous ones remain. Can anyone suggest what may be going wrong please

I had similar problem, change skin and go back, then the settings remained... a bit complicated but....
