I'm running a Shield with Kodi installed. I just did a factory reset because my old 32gb SD card that I had formated as internal storage crapped out on me. I decided to use the Shield's existing storage as the main source and my new SD card as additional external storage.
The problem is that all apps into the Shield's internal (limited) storage and I don't want it to get full so quickly. One of the largest space consumers is all of the metadata from my large Kodi library. I wanted to know if it was possible to set up Kodi's appdata folder to be stored and accessed through the external storage? And if it is, how can it be done?
