i have the 4/19 build and i can't seek too far into a movie i'm streaming using windows smb sharing.
one other thing i'm trying to do is enter a time using my remote control to skip to but it ignores me.
anyone have any tips?

dunno about the first issue, but iirc timejump is not implement in xbmc as of yet (was a xbmp feature only).
read the xbmc
online-manual,
faq and
search the forums before posting! do not e-mail the xbmc-team asking for support!
read/follow the
forum rules! note! team-xbmc never have and never will host or distribute ms-xdk binaries/executables!

thanks for the reply. in case anyone's interested, the movie i'm watching is xvid with ogg sound (2 sound tracks).
i notice that the 4/29 version fixes seeking with ogg files so maybe that will help me - whenever i can get my hands on it.
