~/Documents shortcut does not for Kodi Media Sources
#1
Greetings from Brazil,

I would like to create a baseline for Mac OS which would be restore in any other Mac OS and work just fine. I have some paths that point to the Documents folder. Since the user that will restore the backup will be different from mine. So I was hoping that the shortcut ~ would work, so that ~/Documents would point to the /Users/<USERN>/Documents correctly from Kodi as it works when I type it in my terminal.

I get the error Path not found.

  Here is the log: https://paste.kodi.tv/uquhaxirub.kodi

Thanks

To sum up: I need something like the special:// protocol (https://kodi.wiki/view/Special_protocol) that points to /Users/[username] directory.
