Friends
I am new to Kodi so please be gentle with me!
I have a MythTV V31 backend installed on a raspberry pi 4. It apears to be going well, it has detected all channels. it has recorded them in its database.
I have kodi on a Linux Mint
```
$ kodi --version
18.6 Debian package version: 2:18.6+dfsg1-2ubuntu1 Media Center Kodi from Debian
Copyright © 2005-2019 Team Kodi from Debian - http://kodi.tv
```
I have installed the mythtv plugin (there is only one?) in kodi
I can connect to the back end. When I start kodi I see:
```
Oct 14 01:10:50 raspberrypi mythbackend: mythbackend[817]: I ProcessRequest mainserver.cpp:1769 (HandleAnnounce) MainServer: MainServer::ANN Frontend
Oct 14 01:10:50 raspberrypi mythbackend: mythbackend[817]: I ProcessRequest mainserver.cpp:1774 (HandleAnnounce) MainServer: adding: munroe(aa002338) as a client (events: 0)
```
in the mythbackend log.
I do not know how to interpret these.
On the TV section of Kodi I see all the channels listed that the backend can find but when I click on one (in kodi) is see in the mythbackend log:
```
Oct 14 01:12:21 raspberrypi mythbackend: mythbackend[817]: I ProcessRequest mainserver.cpp:1769 (HandleAnnounce) MainServer: MainServer::ANN Monitor
Oct 14 01:12:21 raspberrypi mythbackend: mythbackend[817]: I ProcessRequest mainserver.cpp:1774 (HandleAnnounce) MainServer: adding: munroe(8e3458) as a client (events: 0)
Oct 14 01:12:21 raspberrypi mythbackend: mythbackend[817]: I MythSocketThread(52) mainserver.cpp:7861 (connectionClosed) Monitor sock(8e3458) 'munroe' disconnected
```
I have no clue where to go next to trouble shoot this. Can anybody give me any clues?
