script/plugin question for ubuntu

never used xbmc before, i am running intrepid. just curious where i could get scripts and plugins and how to install them...i downloaded the scripts from ppa but when i go to scripts menu nothing is there..how/where is data stored on the intrepid filesystem?

thanks for the reply. That one site looks more like for windows. I'm trying to figure out where linux stores the scripts

ok..figured out where the scripts go, i had the folder hidden. i found a script list at

http://xbmc-scripting.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

when i click on the link, i get a bunch of different files...do i just copy all of those?
