Sometimes doesent start in Fullscreen

...and sometimes it does, its weird, XBMC logo is always fullscreen but sometimes it starts with the task and navigation bar of Ubuntu still visible, does anyone know how to change it so it always starts full screen? (fullscreen option is turned on in the settings)

Had the same problem in multiple versions of XBMC but im running Nightly Build r22528 right now.
Os: Ubuntu 9.04
Skin: Transparency! v2.00
Comp details: Pentium4 2.5ghz, 512 ram, 32mb Geforce4 420 Go

You don't have desktop effects (compiz/beryl) on by any chance do you?
It sounds like a focus issue.

Tnx man, worked like a charm for me. Bet it will for thread starter to.
Finally i can start using autochange refresh rate.
edit:
I just turned off effects in "system" - "preferences" - "apperance" - "effects" and selected none.

Works like a charm, had visual effects on normal, think its all fixed now, thnx alot guys ^-^

I have had this problem for quite a while now with no solution. I just reset the resolution to auto on all XBMC profiles rebooted, then tested resolution on all XBMC profiles, rebooted and it seems at least for now to work.
