just as usual i tried to play a vc-1 m2ts video, experiencing the usual stutterering playback.
during playback i called the overlay on top of the screen and entered the audio section. as expected audio output is set to hdmi. i changed the output device to optical/koax and the stuttering was gone! i switched back to hdmi and playback was still stutter free. i stopped the video and repeated the steps above this time selecting analog output first then switching back to hdmi resulting also in a stutter free playback. so it's reproduceable.
steps to reproduce:
0. adjust refreshrate enabled
1. start playback of vc-1 m2ts file
2. enter audio section in video overly on the top of the screen
3. switch from current output to any other output device
3.1 experience stutter free playback
4. switch back to your regular output device
4.1 experience stutter free playback, too
revision: 31516
some logs:
1. failed playback without changing anything in the audiosection:
-> http://pastebin.com/ZCFFk4G0
2. successful playback running through the steps above:
-> http://pastebin.com/DvCkKRD8
is anybody able to reproduce the result above?
edit: you have to repeat the steps above once you stopped video playback. this applies also in case you switch back to the homescreen and then back to fullscreen while playback is still running.
