After a hard drive failure I used AID to reinstall XBMC, using the T3CH upgrader I had to switch to svn otherwise no download was found to get up to the latest.
However now adverts are no longer skipping. :confused2:

Previously just using DVDPlayer would get EDL working so I set that player as default but now not even DVDPlayer works now.

Any ideas please?

It should find now T3CH builds fine, although you can try with SSCS builds as well.
