I have had it running on various version. With Dharma, it just displays gibberish on the screen. With 9.11 it runs fine. Any suggestions?

Iv downloaded sudo apt-get lcdproc this is version 0.5.3 and in the list of supported drivers i don't see the irtrans one. iv tried everything to the letter. and still no working remote /vfd.

have you got a file /usr/lib/lcdproc/irtrans.so ?
if so, there is lcdproc support, you just need to set it as currently used driver in LCDd.conf, putting driver=irtrans where you see driver=curses, that's all

Hi succo i think i need the cvs version from the lcdproc site as it states that it supports the irtrans driver. The problem iv got being a noob is how do i download and install from there this is the link:

Does this need compiling ?

Everytime I press the button the Select Return: 1 return happens. nothing else. Anyone have any ideas?
