Hi all,
I am a newbie for XBMC Live. I have installed the XBMC Live on the HD of my old laptop (ASUS M6) recently. My sound card is RME digiface plus a HAMMERFALL DSP cardbus (interface card). The good news is that I don't need to spend time on installing drives for the sound card, I guess the ALSA has done every thing for me. My DAC can lock the frequency signal from the sound card so I think the installation should be okay. However, the bad news is that I cannot get the sound out. In the system setting, I select HAMMERFALL DSP default. In the audio output, no matter how I try ("analog", "SPDIF" or "HDMI") the error message "Fail to initialize your audio device" always shows up. The sound output from my laptop default system just works fine. Any opinions to make it work? Many thanks!
