I believe you don't have your USB device as number 1 boot. Check again in bios.
Mine did the same thing you have to make sure it says the device name.

I have checked and got the USB as the boot priority and I'm now getting this message. Can anyone tell me exactly what settings should be changed for this motherboard bios?

Sorry guys way too early in the morning!! :-) I just realised that the Flash drive was formated as NTFS rather than FAT32. All resolved now
