Basic question please about XBMC Set Up

Is it advisable to buy a HTPC or PC with the appropriate output ports to connect to a TV?

I understand that 64 bit machines are vital as are good graphics cards etc but what are the preferred external ports? Would a blackmagic HDMI Out Capture Card be the best thing?

Thanks

Acer Revo r3700 Nettop is spot on for XBMC 1080p.

All depends on budget and whether homebuilt or ready made Smile
