i have the dvd kit for xbox. i want a new remote for xbmc. so can i use the existing ir reciever on the dongle? if so, how would i go about programming it?

read the online manual regarding jp1 remotes.
there's a pronto ccf file on the sourceforge site (files section).
otherwise, it uses rca mode 0522. (rca dvd player).
please add any information you find out to the online manual. it's written by users for users. link is in my sig.
