TiVo is allegedly pushing out a new software update that includes a new Multi Room Streaming service.
This is different from their previous (and still extant) interface that allowed a client to just download a ginormous video file in toto. This new service should allow a true stream with random access, etc.
Anyway, does anyone think it would be possible to reverse engineer an XBMC client for it? AFAIU decrypting TiVo's data is a solved problem once you have the MAK.
