Linux No HDD space
#1
Hey guys!

I've got a bit of a major issue here. I installed XBMC on my internal, 40 gb drive. All my media is on an external 320gb drive that connects via USB 2.0. I connected it and scanned all the music into the library. I think I've got around 20 GB of music on the external drive. Now, for some odd reason, the internal drive is reading at 100%. All 40 GB are being used. Before scanning the media, it was only using 20GB (which is surprisingly large for a linux distribution). My specs are below. Any advice you can shed on this matter would be awesome.

Hardware:
Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.40GHz
RAM: 241MB DDR1 - ram usually idles around 25% when no media is playing.

/dev/sda1 38GB total 36GB used.... 100% use
/dev/sdb1 299GB total 237GB used... 80% use

Wireless connection, screen resolution is 1024x768 at the moment, although I'd like to see some support for 1920x1080 for my monitor

Software:
OS: Linux 3.0.0-16generic
XBMC 11.0 "Eden"

If you need more info, let me know. I am rather new here. Thanks!
