Playlist Help

Hey guys,

I've set up a playlist to show only 720 HD Movies but when I access that folder there is nothing in there? I've configured with a rule to only show a video resolution greater than 720p.

Have I have figured this out right? Does this actually allow me to add for instance 1channel movies or ice films stuff?

Or is this just for home shared content from a PC?

Sorry for the noob questions...

Regards,

KM

Don't know... we can't see your playlist from here.

No 1channel or IceFilms support here.

Again, don't know what kind of playlist you're referring to since you did not specify nor include an example.

All what I meant is in playlist can you actually access for instance 1 channel movies.

How do I add a source where my movies come from? All the videos I found on Youtube show how to make a playlist with say 720p as your desired size. Then when they select that folder viola there are all the movies. What am I missing here?

Here's an example of video I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trz5rjATY2A

Where is the best tutorial on how to make a playlist for streaming content?

You probably don't have movies in your XBMC library? See here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Video_library

He has his movie files stored on a local or network disk and scanned into his library.

I don't believe it's possible to do this with smart playlists. However, maybe you can try something like this to to see if you can get your streaming content cataloged into your library: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=98210
And then maybe you can create a smart playlist for it? Don't know if this is possible or not, so check the thread above and see if it's mentioned as a possibility.

For information on smart playlists in general, see this wiki article: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Smart_playlists
