Question
I've built many PCs in my time... haven't built one in about 10+ years!!

Here's what I have coming:

MEMORY:
"Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866 MHZ (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory (CMZ16GX3M2A1866C10R)"

DVD PLAYER (I do not own any blue-ray, this is purely to get my DVDs stored on the box):
"Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive - Bulk - IHAS124-04 Version C (Black)"

HARD DRIVE:
"Seagate Barracuda 7200 3 TB 7200RPM SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST3000DM001"

EXTRA FAN (It was free, not sure if I'll use it... probably will):
Kingwin CF-12LB 120mm Case Fan - Long Life Bearing, 3 & 4 Pin (K450-4014)

MOTHERBOARD:
Asus F2A85-V Pro Socket FM2 Motherboard - ATX, Socket FM2, AMD A85X FCH, DDR3 1866 MHz, SATA III (6Gb/s), RAID, 8-CH Audio, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, PCIe 2.0, CrossFireX Ready (A455-8500)

POWER SUPPLY:
Coolmax ZX-600 600W Power Supply - 600W, ATX, 80 Plus, 140mm Fan, NVIDIA SLI, ATI CrossFire (T13-0600)

PROCESSOR:
AMD A10-5800K

CASE (Wanted a Mid, and I needed it to be 16" to fit where it had to go):
Ultra XBlaster Mid ATX

KEYBOARD:
Logitech K400

REMOTE:
Logitech Touch (I already have it and love it!)

OS:
Undecided! (I have a copy of Windows 8 Pro & a copy of Windows 7 Pro... I can also do Unix... I'm looking for advice on this one!!) Smile

It's on the way, but I can certainly make changes... at the end of the day, here's what I would like to be able to do with my box:

1) "Store" all my DVDs (no blu-rays) on the box (I can get more storage if needed). (So, I'm guessing use MakeMKV or something?)
2) "Store" all my CDs on the box.
3) (If possible, not a must): Serve the shows from Tivo... not sure how this works exactly.
3) This is a "must" : Watch programs from places like Put Locker, etc. (So the best browser is key!)
4) MAYBE get an M-Card tuner card (MAYBE, MAYBE!) -- this is not the end of the world if I can't do it...

I'll stop there... truth-be-told, I'm not all that sure what XBMC can and can't do... OK! Let me have it... and thanks for being here! Smile

Looks nice. On 1), I use Make mkv for all my ripping needs and it works pretty much flawlessy.

Good luck!
