I bought this the other day and I'm going mad.

I bought this box just so I can watch sports on my tv but it won't play any sports.
Why?

I get this message,
"playback failed, one or more items failed to play, check the log file for details"
And underneath it says this,
"Script failed! : plugin.video.streamtvbox"

Talk to the vendor that sold you this box or ask your money back? Don't expect any help here.

For starters, the a-hole that sold you your box told you a bunch of stuff that isn't true, like the legality of those video streams and how well they work. The product you received was not the product advertised.

Second, we can't help you with video add-ons that are explicitly for bootleg video content per our forum rules (wiki), which your sports add-on probably is.
