Sense check MySQL centralized library
#1
Question
I believe I understand this but I want to sense check the answer.

I have Kodi set up on three systems. Two are strictly used for viewing video and listening to music. I have MySQL as a central library for video and music using the wiki documented setup of advancedsettings.xml. I presume that only on the system that I do my ripping of video & audio do I want/need to have a video and music source defined. Correct? All three systems have access to the source media files on a NAS.

This should work, you can play all files on the 2 systems without the sources defined but won't be able to scrape new media, etc...
