I did, but seeing it on the command-line isn't useful. What I need to do is see an entry (like an album or a song) in the music library (either in Kodi's menu system, the web interface or my mobile app) and push "information" or something and be told which files and/or directories are connected to them.

Well, it is useful, and tells you all you need to know, it's just not as convenient as pushing a button, which you can't do, so... good luck.
