I get the following error when trying to control the SpotIMC music addon from the remote.

XBMC JSON-RPC Error: Invalid params.
(Code: -32602)
Data: (null)

Not sure if this is a remote or SpotIMC issue, but thought I'd let you know.

SpotIMC issue. Try Spotlight (https://bitbucket.org/re/spotlight/wiki/Home). It's limited, but works on remote controls.
