Second Tuner Not Working in Myth PVR
#1
I have one antenna pointed at City A with an HDHR3 dual tuner on it and another antenna pointed at City B with its own HDHR3 dual tuner. I am running Kodi + MythTV backend on a fresh install of Lubuntu.

In the native MythTV Frontend software, watching video from City A and City B works fine. In the MythTV PVR add-on in Kodi, video from City A works, but when I select a channel to watch from City B, it attempts to connect and then times out.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Have you try to increase timeout in addon settings ? The default value is low (5 sec).
Else need debug log with enabling of more debug log in addon settings.

Both of my tuners typically get a channel lock within 3 seconds. I will increase it to 10 and see what happens.

I will post debug log tonight.

I ended up doing a complete OS reinstall, and for whatever reason it functions properly now. I wish I could report a solution, but I really don't know.

Seems OS reinstall is a solution Wink. Good to know it works now.
