I have an old Onkyo receiver with 4 optical inputs and still works perfectly the problem is Nvdia shield TV doesn't have a optical output only hdmi I need a good converter I saw many at amazon but not idea witchone I can order ....my friends let use his converter today for test but only passthru ac3 5.1 mv4 video but not pass the DTS Mkv video this particular converter is Tomsenn hdmi swith he got from amazon but DTS not working .....please if somebody is using a good converter please let me know or share the link to buy thank you

Did you succeed in finding working hdmi optical converter? Exactly in your position: old good receiver and migrating to nvidia shield. I'm interested in ac3 and dts audio formats.
