Hi, it looks like since the recent update to serverWMC I am not able to watch live or Recording now shows on a remote Kodi client (both server and client are Windows Kodi 15.2). The main machine runs WMC and serverWMC work just fine. I am using a Ceton InfiniTV4 pcie card.
On the remote client It just hangs on please wait.
It has been a while since I have used the remote client but I am remember live TV working asking with the ability to watch recording shows
Please let me know if want me to post logs and from what machine (location of log file your after would be good to know as well).
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't watch both live and rec tv on a remote client I'm pretty sure its because your remote client doesn't have access to your recorded tv folder. Check that the account the used on the client can access the shared recorded tv folder. If it can, then post the serverwmc log after your remote client tries to play a live stream.

Let me clarify, I can watch shows that have fully recorded, however I am unable to watch live or active recordings.
Since I am able to watch fully finished recordings on the remote client I don't think it is an access problem. I will grab the logs tomorrow.

So I installed Kodi on my laptop and connected to the ServerWMC media center and was able to watch live and active recordings. Going to try again from the other client that was having problems.

The StreamStartError means that the client reported to serverwmc that it couldn't open the ts file. The path to the ts file that the client used is reported in the error message:
smb://kodi:****@TV/Shared/remux/RecordingTV_Kodi^CCC_Gallagher_2016_01_07_08_48_01.ts
does that look right? I can't see your configuration since you didn't post the entire log... did you set a different folder location to hold the remux (ts) file? Does your remote client have access to that folder?

I'll post the full log. Sorry about that. I figured I would save you the trouble. While troubleshooting some other issues I may have set that to a different location. Let me check config.
Interestingly enough it does work on the other client I just installed

If you just leave RemuxCustomFolderUNC blank it uses the recorded tv folder. ex:
<RemuxCustomFolderUNC />

Not sure why that setting works on one machine but not the another, however after I removed that (set it to default) the one client that wasn't working now works
