Win HELP: Can't figure how to go back to 16.1
#1
This is probably a dumb question, but here it goes...

I downloaded 17.1, but it wouldn't launch so I uninstalled and now it won't download at all. I'd like to go back to 16.1 because it was working fine. I can't seem to figure it out though. I go to the older version section, go to "source" 16.0 Jarvis, click run and it open a file in 7zip, then I don't know what to do. I have checked the forums and wiki for solutions but couldn't find anything. Forgive my ignorance ,any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you do anything to try and fix your issue with 17 before going back to 16? There are a couple of common problems that can be easily resolved and you would be better off on the current version.

I also wasn't over the moon after test driving v17. Then I rolled back to v16. Something is wrong then. the subtitles on my 3D movies are all weird. If it is a SBS movie, the subtitle will all go to the left hand side of the screen. If it is a TAB, then the subtitle will be in the middle half of the screen. I tried to change the system and configuration, no luck. Uninstalled and installed again v16, no luck. Back to v17 and the subtitles fixed themselves. Does anyone have similar experience?
