Suddenly having audio problems on kodi krypton v17.1 XBMC. Was working last night but when I turned it on this am no sound on any apps. Have checked F8 and the + sign and still no volume. Volume works everywhere except on kodi. I do not have any gaming device or joystick enabled and have gone through all the system audio settings suggested. I also unplugged the box and restarted...still no volume. Help please!

Play something, then open the OSD (touch the screen) then select settings (the cog icon) and audio and subtitles settings. You can set volume and amplification there - see if that helps.

For me, when I don't have sound, I go to audio settings and change the "stereo upmix" and the sound comes back.
I have to do it almost every time.
