Is it possible to stream Kodi to television with wireless connection

I suppose given the right broadcast hardware on your PC, and the correct receiver on your TV but it would be outside the Kodi software, all drivers, limitations etc would be external to the program. But why go to that effort when a straight HDMI cable between the two is the obvious solution.

Kodi can act as a UPNP media server, so the Smart TV might work as a renderer. Also, I have heard owner reports that Kodi runs on AndroidTV 6 and I assume AndroidTV 7.
