Solved Poor video skipping when osd disappears

When watching online video when the mouse cursor and osd disappear the picture skips, stutters and is extremely poor and unwatchable. But when I move the the mouse the picture is fine with no issues. Is there a way to fix the this annoying problem.

Running kodi 17.3 on windows 10.
