Hi there,
I'm having a bit of an issue with video playback for a few months now.
Somehow Kodi can't keep the buffer up while playing videos, which results in the screen occasionally freezing for a few seconds (up to 10) before continuing. I've tried LITERALLY everything and nothing works.
Is there any way to keep the buffer going (so it rebuffers when it's about 50% 'empty' and that way keeps a steady stream)? It just keeps running out.
These are my advancedsettings.xml settings:
<cache>
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<memorysize>367001600</memorysize>
<readfactor>20</readfactor>
</cache>
It's running on a RPi3, with a 500Mbit connection and using the Emby add-on (it also does the same thing if I run things locally).
Any ideas?
Cheers!
