I have a collection of old tv programs in mv4 format on an external USB hard drive and used in the Video section of Kodi. I'd like to be able to delete some of the files after viewing.  I can do this in the TV list of files, but not in the Video list.  When I select 'Context' key or button I don't see Delete as an option. I only see:

Play
Queue item
Play next 
Add to favourites

Any ideas?

You'll have to enable the Delete option via Settings / Media / General / Allow file renaming and deletion.
And possible first change the GUI menu level to 'Advanced' or 'Expert'.
